2026 Volvo XC40

The Volvo XC40 debuted as a new subcompact crossover model for 2018, slotting in under the XC60. The only version offered is the XC40, a mild hybrid 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

The interior features Volvo's latest design ideas, such as the vertical A/C vents, aside from the portrait-mode touchscreen. The mid-range Momentum model is generously equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, rear parking assist, and leather seats as standard.

Safety features include a full set of airbags, ESP, ABS, Cross Traffic Alert with automatic braking, City Safety for pedestrian detection, and the Pilot Assist system for semi-autonomous steering, acceleration, and braking on “well-marked” roads, a feature that will work up to 128 kph.
