Overview
The Volkswagen Scirocco received a minor facelift for the 2015 model year. Engines include a 1.4-litre TSI 4-cylinder with both a supercharger and a turbocharger, as well as a 2.0-litre FSI turbocharged 4-cylinder. The GCC dealers will be pushing the automatic version locally, with the 'DSG' automanual gearbox, but it can be special-ordered with a 6-speed manual. This Portugese-built front-wheel-drive hatchback gets the usual power accessories, along with available panoramic sunroof, CD/MP3 stereo, 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, front-side airbags, climate control, keyless entry, stability control, ABS and such. The VW Scirocco also gets an optional three-mode adaptive chassis control, offering the driver a choice of sport and comfort that affects suspension and steering tune.
