2012 Renault Megane

After a two-year hiatus to clear old stocks, the Renault Megane came back to the GCC market with an all-new design, more conservative than before. Engine choices, all 4-cylinder, include a 1.6-litre with a 5-speed manual, a 1.6-litre with an ancient 4-speed automatic, and a 2.0-litre with a CVT automatic. The front-wheel-drive Megane is available as a hatchback only now, aside from a CC convertible version, with independent front and live-axle rear suspension. Standard features in the hatchback include cloth upholstery, split-folding rear seat, fog lamps, rear wiper, manual a/c, power windows and mirrors, keyless entry, 4-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with AUX port and Bluetooth and 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps.
