The Ram 1500 will only be offered in the GCC with a 5.7-litre "Hemi" V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic with available manual-shift feature. Available in regular cab, quad cab and crew cab, with three box lengths depending on model, the two trim levels available in the UAE are the ST and the Laramie. The new model is the first truck in this segment to have a coil-spring multilink rear suspension fitted to a solid rear axle, instead of leaf springs, to improve ride quality. The new design boasts best-in-class aerodynamics and new interiors with premium soft-touch materials, as well as an optional industry-first RamBox lockable storage bins built into the bed rails, and cabin storage bins with removable liners big enough for ten beer cans.
