Porsche 911 GT2 2019 Overview
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS was released in 2017 and was a limited edition model. Only 1000 units were made, which got sold before its release. It was considered the most powerful Porsche 911 at the time. Under the hood, it got the 3.8-litre turbocharged flat-6 engine, mated to their 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. Standard features include power windows, power mirrors, central locking, keyless entry, push start engine, Alcantara and leather upholstery, bucket seats made with carbon-fibre reinforced plastic, Porsche Communication Management infotainment system, AM/FM radio with CD/USB/AUX support, Apple CarPlay, and lightweight 20-inch alloy rims in the front and 21-inch for the rear axle. Rear-axle steering and ceramic brakes came standard in this 911 GT2 RS. There was an optional Weissach package available which reduces the overall weight of the car by almost 30 kg by using lightweight materials and adding material for the track, such as a roll-cage or six-point racing harness for driver and passenger. Optional equipment included different leather upholstery packages, carbon-fibre packages, and a high quality BOSE surround sound system. Standard safety features include airbags, stability control, traction control, ABS brakes and brake assist.
