Overview
The Mini Roadster is just a soft-top version of the Mini Coupe, which itself is the latest edition for 2012 to the ever-expanding Mini line-up. Based on the standard Mini, the only real difference is in the upper half. While the regular Cabrio had tight back seats, the Roadster ditches the rear seats completely. Models include the Cooper, the turbocharged Cooper S, and the upgraded turbocharged John Cooper Works. The Cooper uses a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine, with the S adding a turbocharger, and the JCW featuring an upgraded turbocharger. Gearbox choices include a manual and an automatic for all except the JCW, which only comes with a manual. Standard features include CD stereo, power windows and electric mirrors, along with a number of airbags, with options such as navigation, sports seats, panoramic glass roof and alloy-wheel choices.
