2012 Lexus LX

The Lexus LX 570, which was all-new for 2008, received a minor facelift for 2012. Heavily based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, new model gets a new front-end, bi-xenon headlights, new 18-inch or 20-inch wheels, new tail-lamp clusters and a couple of features such as "overturn" assist and new interior colours. The Lexus is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. In 2014, a limited-to-200 LX 570 Supercharged was offered exclusively for the Middle East market, with a 5.7-litre supercharged V8. The full-time all-wheel drive features a new 2-speed transfer case, Torsen centre differential and a crawl-control feature when in low range. The "overturn" assist feature can lock one inside rear tyre to help make slow turns tighter in offroad conditions.
