Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2010 Overview
Hyundai's first ever rear-wheel-drive sports car, the Genesis Coupe is a 2+2 seater that has quickly earned some respect in the affordable performance category. The Genesis Coupe is based on the same rear-drive platform as found under the full-size Genesis sedan, but with almost five inches chopped out of the wheelbase. The Coupe features a MacPherson strut dual-link front suspension and a five-link rear suspension. The GCC-spec Genesis Coupe will only be available as a fully-optioned V6 automatic model. That means the two-door coupe will come with power windows, electric mirrors, 18-inch wheels, leather seats, cruise control, sunroof, HID headlights, 10-speaker Infinity audio and Brembo brakes. The 3.8-litre V6 engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic. The V6 manual and the base turbo 4-cylinder engine, as sold in other overseas markets, will not be offered as of now. While details on this limited-import model are vague, safety features should at least include dual front airbags, ABS and stability control.
