2012 Honda Civic

The Civic, a trendsetter for the compact class, plays it safe with a conservative new model for 2012. Largely based on the previous model, the Civic comes with a carryover 1.8-litre engine and a 5-speed automatic, but now offering better fuel economy. In fact, all versions come with an "Eco Assist" feature that provides feedback to the driver to promote more efficient driving styles. Standard features on all trims include cloth upholstery, CD/MP3 stereo with AUX port, keyless entry, body-coloured exterior trim, manual a/c, power windows and electric mirrors. The base LXi model specifically gets 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, and a 2-speaker stereo.
