Overview
An all-new Ford Escape was released in 2021 for the GCC. For the 2021 Ford Escape, two engines are available. The first is an all-new turbocharged 1.5-litre 3-cylinder engine, while the other is the carried-over 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder motor, which has been upgraded for better performance and fuel efficiency. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The base 2023 Ford Escape model is two-wheel drive, with optional 4-wheel drive. The Escape comes standard with cloth seats, power door locks, windows and mirrors, tilt steering column, speed controls on the steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels and electric power steering. The Sync infotainment system gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well. Upgrades include premium cloth upholstery or leather, power front seats, a power moonroof, cruise control, fog lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels and parking sensors.
