2009 Cadillac SLS

An all-new model when released back in 2005, the Cadillac STS gets a major interior and exterior facelift for 2008. A variant of the STS is the new SLS. Based on the STS, the SLS is stretched 100 mm. The additional length results in extended rear legroom. Diamond-faceted contours echo the geometry of other Cadillac vehicles. Subtle V-shapes, inspired by Cadillac`s shield badge, are a recurring motif in both the exterior and interior design. Interestingly, the cabin is actually unique to the SLS, derived from the standard STS cabin styling, but with additional details that make it more attractive. The SLS interior design and fit-and-finish are claimed to be excellent, although we are not sure if Chinese assembly makes any difference. Ambient lighting, Tuscany leather and sapele-pommele wood accents all give the cabin a relaxing and premium look and feel.
