2016 Toyota RAV 4

The Toyota RAV4 got a complete redesign for 2013, with a new styling language, a new drivetrain, and new features. In 2016, it got a facelift. The existing platform has been updated with new suspension tuning, while the standard engine now is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder mated to a 6-speed automatic with manual-shift capability. There is also a choice of front-wheel-drive with limited-slip diff or all-wheel-drive with 50:50 lock mode. New items in this 5-seater crossover include a lift-up tailgate with the spare wheel now stored under the boot floor. In the UAE, there was a reshuffle of trims for 2016, with the 2WD available in EX and VX grade, while the AWD is sold in GXR and VXR grades.
