Spyker C8 2010 Overview
Spyker is largely an unknown name to the general public, but this Dutch name was apparently around as far back as 1898. The company was resurrected in 2000 with the C8 Spyder, a unique and expensive hand-built supercar with an open-top roof. The Spyker C8 Laviolette coupe soon joined the Spyder. In 2002, the street version of their LeMans racer was unveiled as the C8 Double12 S coupe, with an extended rear end. The C8 was finally launched in this region in 2007. The Spyker C8 range has a 4.2-litre Audi V8, manual or automatic six-speed gearbox, limited slip differential and ABS brakes. Optional features for all cars include a turned-aluminium dashboard fascia, 19-inch Aeroblade magnesium wheels, several leather options, Chronoswiss dashboard instruments, supercharger or even a custom-fitted Louis Vuitton luggage set. The body is built in Germany and the car is assembled in Holland.
