2009 Renault Clio RS

The Clio was completely redesigned in 2006, but this new version is only available in the GCC in sporting form. The two versions available are the Renault-Sport Clio 197 RS and the Renault-Sport Clio F1 Team R27. As confusing as the naming system is, the RS is the generic model and the F1 is a special-edition model with red Brembo four-piston brake calipers, yellow paint and various "F1 Team" and "world champion" stickers. Both the RS and the F1 versions of the Clio Renault-Sport models will be sold in limited numbers across the GCC, due to low demand rather than to maintain exclusivity. Derived from the basic New Clio available in Europe, both the Renault-Sport cars are powered by a highly-tuned 2.0-litre 4-cylinder with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
