Polestar is a spinoff brand from Volvo, but aimed to be more luxurious and sportier. The brand makes its debut in the GCC with the Polestar 2. Based on the XC40 chassis, it comes with either 69 kWh battery with front-wheel drive or a 78 kWh battery and all-wheel drive. Inside, it gets a completely different interior from a Volvo, with a bigger screen and higher quality materials. Customers can opt for leather interior or a more sustainable vegan upholstery with reconstructed wood. The infotainment system has Google built-in which lets you use a host of apps. Google maps is integration with the Polestar system to allow it to find the best route with the least battery usage. Google Assistant can be used to communicate with the car to control A/C, media controls, send a message or input destinations to the navigation.
