2016 Mercedes-Benz SLK Class

The third generation Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster received a redesign for the 2012 model, with the front end looking more like their SLS model. The range starts with the SLK 200 and SLK 250, both with two 4-cylinder 1.8-litre turbocharged units. Then comes the SLK 350 with a 3.5-litre V6 and finally a high-powered SLK 55 AMG model fitted with a naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V8 engine. Only the SLK 200 gets the six-speed manual, while the rest of the models is mated to a seven-speed automatic. The traditional mechanically folding hardtop continues in the SLK, with this time having the option of combining it with a panoramic glass roof.
