The second-generation SLK, a hard-top convertible, boasts a better-looking design than its limited competition from Germany. Several details take their cue from Formula 1, like its arrow-shaped nose. The range starts with the 1.8-litre supercharged SLK 200 Kompressor, and goes up to V6 models such as the 3.0-litre SLK 280 and the new 3.5-litre SLK 350, while Mercedes-AMG builds the top 5.4-litre SLK 55 AMG.
