Overview
The Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class is essentially the new facelifted M-Class following the German brand's new nomenclature. From 2017 onwards, this midsize SUV came in three versions. The GLE 400 comes with a 3.0-litre turbo engine, the hybrid GLE 500e gets the 3.0-litre turbo V6 combined with an electric motor and the GLE 500 has the 4.7-litre V8. Both engines get a 7-speed automatic transmission. Available features include adjustable air suspension, adaptive cruise control and active parking assist. The exterior features HID headlights, LED running maps and a choice of 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels. The revamped 5-seater interior offers, depending on trim level, leather upholstery, wood trim, mood lighting, Harmon-Kardon Logic7 surround sound, HDD navigation, optional panoramic sunroof, rear entertainment system, optional keyless start, optional ventilated power front seats and a split-folding rear seat.
