2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe

The C 63 AMG model is the sports model of the C-Class range. For 2012, a new coupe model was introduced for the first time alongside the sedan. The heavily-tuned 6.2-litre V8-powered C 63 AMG comes with a 7-speed automatic. An auto start-stop feature allows for low fuel-consumption ratings. The centre console comes with an electronic rotary switch for selecting the four transmission modes and the race start function. The sports seats are optionally available in single-tone or two-tone designo leather. A limited-edition C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series was briefly offered in 2012, with a higher-tuned engine, track-ready suspension, aggressive body kit and no speed limiter. In 2013, a special "Edition 507" version was offered with an uprated engine, identified by its black wheels and badges, with only 10 hp less than the aggressive Black Series and a higher-speed limiter. The C 63 AMG comes with a full set of safety features, including electronic nannies and multiple airbags.
