Overview
The Lexus IS debuted as an all-new sedan in 2007, and has received a very minor facelift as well as new versions to choose from in 2011. The facelift includes the addition of LED running lights and redone tail lamps. The carryover GCC-specific with the 3.0-litre V6 and 6-speed automatic continues in the IS 300 sedan. An IS 250 sedan with a 2.5-litre V6 and 6-speed automatic newly joined the range as a base model, but was dropped by the end of 2012. The rear-wheel-drive IS comes with an impressive set of standard features that includes a premium sound system with CD auto-changer MP3 and WMA compatibility along with 13 speakers, power windows and front seats, keyless entry and start, cruise control, HID headlamps with auto-leveling system, and a fabric interior.
