2011 Lexus GS

Launched in 2006, the Lexus GS already started to feel dated a few years later, and the 2009 update didn't help matters too much. Lexus openly admitted that the BMW 5-Series was their benchmark for this rear-wheel-drive GS, and yet it never caught on, especially with its detuned engine choices in the GCC when compared to foreign markets. The GS 300 gets a basic 3.0-litre V6 with a 6-speed automatic, while the new-for-2009 GS 460 gets a 4.6-litre V8 paired with an 8-speed automatic.
