Overview
The tenth-generation Honda Civic looks to have gone more upmarket, with LED daytime running lights and taillights given as standard, and LED headlights offered as an option. The new body is also said to be more rigid, thanks to the use of ultra-high strength steel. First released in the GCC in 2016, this generation Civic is not only bigger, but 31 kg lighter than the previous generation as well. The interior also has been upgraded with better fit and finish, while the increase in overall size has helped improve legroom and trunk capacity. In 2017, a Turkish-built Civic with a 1.6-litre engine joined the lineup. Three engines are on offer in the GCC for the 2021 Honda Civic - a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder, a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder and the top-spec turbocharged 1.5-litre 4-cylinder unit.
