2012 Ferrari California

The California is the first Ferrari ever with a front-mounted V8, as well as the first Ferrari with a direct-injection engine, a 7-speed transmission and a folding metal roof. The engine itself is a 4.3-litre V8, mated to the 7-speed dual-clutch automanual gearbox and rear-wheel-drive. Focused slightly more on comfort than on track prowess, the F149-designated California comes with a customisable leather-clad cabin, CD stereo with LCD multimedia screen, and a multi-function steering wheel with starter button and driving-mode selection. It seats only two and has a shelf behind the seats along with a useable luggage trunk, as well as all the usual power accessories, airbags and electronic safety nannies.
