2009 Dodge Avenger

The new-for-2008 Avenger is a midsize sedan that builds on the bold, aggressive styling and performance of the Dodge brand. Offered only in SE and SXT in the Middle East, the front-wheel-drive Avenger is powered by only a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic. The Avenger offers many unique features including a chilled beverage storage called Chill Zone, housed in the passenger side upper instrument panel with the ability to hold and chill as many as four common beverage cans. Other features include a heated/cooled front cupholder, YES Essentials stain-proof fabric, heated cloth seats, LED interior lighting in both front and rear seats, MP3 play capability on all audio systems and MyGIG information and entertainment system. Dual front, side and head-protection airbags are standard, but electronic stability control is optional. This reskinned Chrysler is interesting, but obviously does not appeal to traditional family car buyers.
