Overview
The Camaro continued with minor changes for 2013. Powered by a 3.6-litre V6 or a 6.2-litre V8, it rides on a shortened rear-wheel-drive Lumina SS platform, with four-wheel independent suspension and 2+2 seating. The Camaro comes in V6 LT and V8 SS trims, with an RS package adding some appearance enhancements. A new ZL1 model became available for 2013 as well. The V6 is only available with a 6-speed paddle-shifted automatic in the GCC. The SS gets a choice of two V8 engines, each customised for use with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Known Problems
Random electrical issues, such as faults with key fob, tyre-pressure sensors, Bluetooth software, power-window motors, blown speakers and pinched power-seat wiring harnesses. Numerous random build-quality issues, such as broken steering-wheel adjuster, jamming seat sliders, leaking shocks, cracked dash, air-filter box cracks, premature seat-cushion wear, worn bonnet-struts, water-leaks around windows, rear-deck rattles and loose rear spoiler, though not all owners report same problems. Check for drive-shaft noises, coolant leaks and such, due to random factory flaws. Check all a/c components, as some had issues with compressor, warped belts, LCD a/c display problems, condenser leaks or blower fan squeaks, though not all issues affect all owners.
