Overview
The Cadillac XTS debuted in late 2012 as a new flagship, replacing the STS as well as the DTS. Based on a front-wheel-drive Chevrolet platform, the XTS is powered by a 3.6-litre direct-injection V6, mated to a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive. It comes with a electronically-controlled limited-slip differential, adjustable suspension and Brembo brakes, with standard 20-inch wheels. For 2014, a V-Sport model with a turobcharged 3.6-litre V6 and all-wheel-drive joined the range. Features include leather upholstery, configurable 12.3-inch LCD display, CUE multimedia system, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and Bluetooth support, HID headlights, smart keyless entry/start and all the usual power accessories, with further available features such as heads-up display, adaptive cruise control. Safety features include multiple airbags, lane departure warning, collision alert, safety alert seat, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and available automatic emergency braking.
