Aston Martin Vanquish 2013 Overview
Aston Martin revived the Vanquish nameplate in 2013. Looking pretty much the same as every Aston Martin since the DB9, the "new" AM 310 Vanquish is based on the VH platform, one that is stiffer by 25%. It comes as no surprise that Aston's new flagship is powered by their famed 6.0-litre V12 with power transferred via a "Touchtronic 2"³ 6-speed automatic. The carbon-fibre body Vanquish borrows many styling cues from their hypercar, the One-77, the stretched waist lines and the LED rear lights are examples of such. Do note the interesting "Aero Duct" featured at the rear end. The hand-built Aston is manufactured at their global headquarters at Gaydon in Warwickshire and can be ordered as a 2+2 seater or strict 2-seater coupe. What makes the Vanquish more practical than ever is the 368 litres of boot space which is 60% larger than that of the DBS. The cabin is now larger in volume, and get a treatment of etched and LED-ringed inputs on the centre console.
