2009 Alfa Romeo Spider

Giugiaro's Brera, that was once a futuristic prototype, is now a mass-produced vehicle. The production Brera now has a convertible version, called the Spider. It adopts two JTS petrol engines for the GCC, namely a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.2-litre V6. In terms of safety, the Alfa Spider has up to eight airbags and all types of electronic systems, such as VDC stability control with ASR anti-skid system and MSR, HBA for emergency braking and the Hill Holder for easy uphill starting. Generous dimensions enabled the designers to offer a spacious cockpit for a car in this class. The front seats can be adjusted in every respect and can optionally be with electrical controls. The Spider is an attempt to create a true sports car with unimpaired performance and road-holding mated to the comfort of a luxury car. The dual-zone climate control is automatic, and electronic options include a Bose Hi-Fi Sound System, infomobility systems, parking sensors and cruise control.
