The Chevrolet Captiva Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) is a modern, efficient 5-seater SUV that blends traditional petrol power with electric efficiency.
Powertrain and Performance
The Captiva Plug-In Hybrid combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, producing a total system output of 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels (FWD), offering confident acceleration and refined driving dynamics.
The SUV is equipped with a 20.5 kWh lithium battery, providing an electric-only driving range of around 100 km (NEDC) — ideal for daily commutes or city trips without using fuel. When both the engine and battery are utilized, the Captiva achieves a total driving range of over 1,000 km, making it suitable for longer journeys as well.
Charging options include Level 1 portable charging, Level 2 home wallbox (3.3 kW), and DC fast charging up to 24 kW, allowing flexibility for different charging environments.
