The BMW 8-Series nameplate came back to the line-up in 2019. In 2023, it got a facelift and lower trims got more standard equipment.

The 8-Series comes two engines - a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6 engine and a 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 engine, both motors coming with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Some of the wide range of sophisticated driving and comfort features offered in the 2026 BMW 8-Series include Dynamic Drive Control with four modes, namely comfort, normal, sport and sport+, as well as Comfort Start, Head-Up Display, Multi-Channel Audio System, Rear Seat Entertainment, Four-Zone Automatic Air Conditioning and BMW iDrive control. BMW ConnectedDrive also offers a unique range of driver-assist technology functions for enhanced comfort and safety.
