The Chery Tiggo 9 is the flagship model in the SUV fleet. Under the hood is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The engine produces 254 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The Tiggo 9 is longer, wider and higher than the Tiggo 8.
Standard features in the Tiggo 9 include high-quality leatherette upholstery, a three-row layout for up to seven passengers, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. In the centre is a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. There are hardly any buttons and climate control settings are through the screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. There are different drive modes - Eco, Normal, Sport Snow, Sand and Off-Road.
Safety features are aplenty with 7 airbags as standard, and the top trim gets 10 airbags. The top Premium trim also gets Level 2 ADAS features, park assist, 14-speaker Sony audio system, 20-inch rims and tri-zone climate...
