A new Sebring makes Chrysler a little more than a bit player in the midsize segment, with a funky new exterior and a revamped interior. It even comes in four-seater convertible form with a choice of a cloth top or a folding hardtop. Features include optional remote start, express-down front windows on the key fobs, 60/40 fold-flat rear seats, stain-proof cloth seats or optional leather seats, sliding centre console armrest bin with dual-bin front seat storage, heated cup-holders, optional Harmon-Kardon CD/MP3 stereo with digital storage space, and a multitude of airbags. On the technical front, Electronic Stability Program and Traction Control are optional, as is Brake Assist. Other features include a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS and keyless entry. Three engine options power the new Sebring in other markets, but the region only gets a 2.7-litre V6 as far as we know. The 2.7-litre has a five-speed automatic gearbox with AutoStick.
