Dongfeng Motor Debuts in UAE with First Dubai Showroom

Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor Corporation has made its UAE debut, opening its first showroom in Dubai in partnership with M.A.H.Y. Khoory. The launch event introduced the UAE market to Dongfeng’s line-up of technology-packed, competitively-priced models.

Marking its entrance into a market traditionally dominated by Western and Japanese brands, Dongfeng unveiled four flagship models designed to cater to UAE drivers’ diverse needs: the Shine and Shine Max sedans, alongside the AX7 and Mage SUVs.

Dongfeng’s launch highlights a shift in the UAE automotive scene, where Chinese brands are gaining traction due to their combination of advanced technology and value-driven pricing.

Mr. Saj Jabbar, General Manager of M.A.H.Y. Khoory Automotive Division, emphasized, “The entry of Dongfeng marks an exciting milestone. These models bring a blend of cutting-edge tech, performance, and affordability well-suited to the UAE market.”

The partnership with M.A.H.Y. Khoory also marks the group’s return to the automotive sector. The group will use its extensive local market knowledge to drive Dongfeng’s expansion across the UAE. As the exclusive distributor for Dongfeng, M.A.H.Y. Khoory aims to open more showrooms and service centres to support new customers across the region.
