2025 Porsche 911 GT3 gets upgraded
To celebrate 25 years of the legendary GT3, Porsche has unveiled the updated 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring models for 2025. With mechanical enhancements, design tweaks, and a range of optional extras, Porsche promises an even more exhilarating driving experience. Here’s a closer look at what’s new.
Mechanical Upgrades
The 2024 GT3 boasts significant mechanical improvements. It now features revised cylinder heads and sharper camshafts derived from the GT3 RS, boosting overall performance. Enhanced oil coolers ensure better efficiency, while new throttle valves refine the car’s responsiveness.
To meet the latest emission regulations, the GT3 comes equipped with two particulate filters and four catalytic converters, making it as eco-friendly as a sports car can be.
Porsche 911 GT3 Touring: A Road-Focused Option
The GT3 Touring stands out with its more understated design—most notably, the absence of a rear wing. This model now offers optional rear seats, allowing for a more versatile cabin.
However, to accommodate these seats, front occupants will need to opt for carbon-fibre seats with a foldable backrest. Power-adjustable sports seats are also available for those who prefer a touch of luxury.
Performance Highlights
Both the GT3 and GT3 Touring retain the acclaimed 4.0-litre flat-six engine, delivering 503 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, or what they like to call it – PDK.
The manual variant rockets from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.9 seconds, while the PDK version trims that time down to an impressive 3.4 seconds. Porsche has also refined the final drive and dampers, along with an upgraded anti-dive system that minimizes pitch during braking, enhancing stability and handling.
Porsche 911 GT3 Price and Availability
The Porsche 911 GT3 starts at AED 801,800 and is available to order in showrooms across the UAE and GCC.
