Michelin EV Track Day & Pilot Sport 4-S

Michelin’s EV Track Day, held on November 28 at the Dubai Autodrome, showcased the latest in electric vehicle (EV) technology and the exceptional performance of Michelin tyres. Visitors witnessed firsthand the impulse force, incredible acceleration, and superior grip delivered by a number of Michelin tyres on the track.

Participants had the unique opportunity to enjoy open track driving with Grade A instructors and test the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres that have been designed with an exceptional dry/wet grip for high-performance and outstanding steering control. The tyre is also equipped with acoustic technology for reduced noise and enhanced ride comfort. It comes with a sensor that provides real-time data to the driver on tyre pressure, temperature, and wear, ensuring a safer, more efficient ride.

Additionally, three other Michelin tyres suitable for all EVs were displayed, including:

• Latitude Sport 3, a high-performance SUV summer tyre with excellent wet braking performance and longevity.
• Pilot Sport, a high-performance road tyre, known for its excellent wet braking performance, reactivity, and longevity.
• Pilot Sport EV, a Formula E-inspired tyre that is eco-friendly, offers electrified grip, reduces tyre noise (by 20% owing to Michelin Acoustic Technology), and increases tyre life.

All Michelin tyres have been designed to meet the performance requirements of EVs, thanks to Michelin’s technology.
