2024 Jaguar I-Pace gets a facelift and more tech
In 2018, Jaguar I-Pace marked the British brand’s first foray into the mainstream EV space. Almost five years later, the electric crossover gets a minor facelift and more features to keep its momentum going.
In the same vein as many other modern EVs, the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace loses its mesh grill for a closed-off panel finished in an Atlas Grey shade. The front air vents are detailed, with surfaces finished in the same shade. The rear gets a small spoiler in the 400 Sport model, while the sides are detailed with diamond-cut alloy wheels up to 22 inches in diameter.
The updates on the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace are just skin-deep. So that means the new I-Pace continues to use a dual-motor system that outputs 394 hp. It can hit 100 kph from a standstill in just over 4.7 seconds. If you go for the 400 Sport version, an optional air suspension is available with electronically-controlled damping. The unchanged electricals also mean that the 90 kWh battery continues to do its duty. The maximum range is 470 km in a single charge, as per Europe’s WLTP cycle.
On the tech front, the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace gets a standard Pivi Pro infotainment system with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Integrated Alexa, Spotify, and what3words. All this software can also be updated over the air.
