2023 Infiniti QX55 updated with more standard equipment

Infiniti is a silent player in the luxury segment. Of their range, the Infiniti QX55 plays an important role as it competes in one of the most lucrative segments ever. To keep the crossover updated, 2023 Infiniti QX55 gets more standard equipment for the model year.

To start with, the 2023 Infiniti QX55 gets perforated leather seats even in the base Luxe variant. This replaces the leatherette upholstery that was previously available in the model. Adding to this, ProPilot Assist is now a part of the standard equipment. This adds driver assistance features to the mix, improving the safety of the entire line-up. Previously, this was only offered as standard in the Sensory trim while being optional in the mid-grade Essential trim.

Other features that made their way into the standard features list include auto-folding outside rearview mirrors with heating, four-way powered lumbar adjustment for the driver, blind-spot detection and intervention system, and an additional Type-C USB port in the second row and additional LED welcome lights in the rear door handles.

The Essential grade of the Infiniti QX55 now gets adaptive headlights and traffic sign recognition now as standard. Previously these were optional. The highest trim, Sensory, gets four-way power lumbar to adjust and second-row heated outboard seats.

The mechanicals of the QX55 do not change. It soldiers on with the 2.0-litre turbo unit, good enough for 268 hp and 380 Nm of torque. This is hooked up to a CVT and an all-wheel-drive system.
