2022 Toyota Camry gets a few updates
If there is one vehicle on our roads that almost everyone can recognize, it must be the Toyota Camry. Just a year has passed since Toyota spruced it up a little. Now, they are kitting it up a bit more for the 2022 model year, despite the plummeting demand for sedans worldwide.
If you are looking for a complete revamp with the 2022 Toyota Camry, sorry to disappoint you. There are none. The updates on the midsize sedan are limited to a few cosmetic changes, new safety features, and a few other creature comforts.
The aesthetic changes include a Nightshade edition for hybrid variants. This package adds 18-inch black alloy wheels and other black trim like a shark fin antenna, window trim, door handles, mirror caps, along with unique badges.
Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is the new set of safety features that make their way into the popular sedan. Adding Automatic High Beam, Road Sign Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control, this new suite elevates the safety of the 2022 Camry.
The ones seated inside the updated sedan will be kept in absolute comfort, thanks to the dual-zone climate control. This gets bumped up to tri-zone climate control in the TRD version. Infotainment also gets its turn for the update, growing into a 9-inch size. The new Camry also gets heated mirrors.
The popularity of sedans worldwide is threatened by the crossovers. Yet, the Camry reigns supreme in whatever tiny bit of the market is left for these three-box machines. On our shores, despite the immense demand from the fleet market, there is a significant chunk of personal buyers who will appreciate the new features of the 2022 Toyota Camry.
