2022 GAC GS4, GA6 debuts in the UAE

GAC Motor recently launched the all-new GS4 and GA6 in the UAE. They feature new designs, more fuel efficient and power engines, as well as the new technology and better materials used in the interior. 

Starting with the GS4, the compact SUV follows the big front grille design trend nowadays. The headlights have LED daytime running lamps incorporated in them. From the side, you will notice the floating roof design. The rear taillights stretch out into the sides, with a black strip across the back and the GAC logo underneath it.

Interior is where most of the changes has been done, with the GS4 getting a big touchscreen for its infotainment system, which now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless charging is standard and it gets some sporty design leather seats. There is nice soft-touch materials added on top of the dashboard, as well as the upper door sills.

Under the hood, the GS4 gets a turbocharged 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic. This engine produces about 169 hp and 270 Nm of torque.

Looking at the all-new GA6, the Chinese brand’s midsize sedan offering also follows the design cues of the GS4, featuring a prominent front grille and LED daytime running lamps. The rear gets full-width connected taillamps.

The interior cockpit has a dual-screen design, with a full digital instrument cluster. The 12.3-inch touch screen also gets the latest in connectivity like the GS4. The seats are wrapped in full leather upholstery. Additionally the GA6 gets a sunroof, remote engine start and multi-function steering wheel, electronic parking brake and rearview camera.

There are plans to bring in a higher trim GA6 model soon, featuring their L2 Autopilot System. It optimizes driving by suggesting lane changes and making adjustments according to traffic. It will also include an automated parking feature and 360-camera.

The all-new GAC GS4 and GA6 will be available to customers in the UAE from mid-November.
