2020 Audi A4 gets subtle refresh

Audi has revealed the new 2020 Audi A4 range, which includes the A4 sedan, the S4 sedan which now gets a TDI diesel, the A4 Avant, and the A4 All-Road.

The face of the new range has been tweaked heavily. The previous model’s notched headlamps have been replaced with conventional yet classy headlamp units. The grill now stretches longer across the front and the corner vents on the lower fascia now adopt a vertical fashion. At the rear, the changes are minimal with minor tweaks to the tail lights, exhaust outlets, and reflectors.

The A4 Allroad is spiced up with an extra 35mm ground clearance and few exterior tweaks. The color palette gets increased by one, Terra Grey. The interior is unchanged, except the new 10.1-inch touchscreen that gets updated MMI tech.

There will be six turbocharged engines on offer with the A4 range. The power outputs range from 148 hp to 342 hp. Out of these six, three will come with some sort of mild-hybrid system. One of these is the diesel-powered S4 which gets a mild-hybrid system with a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine. This propels the S4 from 0 to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds. And as per our basic intuitions, the diesel S4 is exclusive for Europe.
