Arabian Automobiles recognised as champion by Nissan

Arabian Automobiles, the exclusive dealer for Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has once again been recognized as a ‘Nissan Champion Distributor’ by Nissan Motor Company, Japan. The award signed by Colin Dodge, Executive Vice President of Nissan Motor Company was awarded to Arabian Automobiles for achieving “excellent performance and demonstrating outstanding operational improvements” for 2009.

The award was handed over to Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles by Atsuo Kosaka, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East FZE at a ceremony in Dubai. This is the second consecutive time Arabian Automobiles has been nominated as a Champion Distributor.

Commenting on the award, CEO Michel Ayat said “We are justifiably proud that our efforts are being recognized at the very highest levels at Nissan Motor Company HQ in Yokohama, Japan. It is through such efforts that Arabian Automobiles is able to consistently outperform the market for sales growth and to rank No.1 in the independently syndicated customer satisfaction survey among the automotive retailers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This award is a testament to our consistent efforts to improve all areas of our operations and to quickly develop, recognize and implement best processes and practices across all our departments”.

Responding for Nissan Middle East, Managing Director Atsuo Kosaka commented “On behalf of Nissan Motor Company, I would like to congratulate Arabian Automobiles’ management for achieving this accolade once again. The award is a clear indication of the best practices the company has deployed through its 40+ years of business in the local Dubai automotive market. This is also a recognition of the dedicated workforce at Arabian Automobiles who strive to maintain the highest standards in their work whilst carrying it out with diligence and attention to detail”.

Arabian Automobiles was recently announced as the winner of the Grand Prize for the “World Aftersales Progress Club” (WAPC) Global Award for scoring 100% in Nissan’s evaluation of the department. Arabian Automobiles also received in October the ‘eLEADER’ recognition from leading B2B portal Tejari.com for bringing the value of its online trading to a value of 8.2 million USD between January and September 2009.
