Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate Edition is the last of the DB9-based clones

Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate Edition is the last of the DB9-based clones

Before the aging Vanquish goes out of production, Aston Martin decided to give it one last hurrah by introducing the Vanquish S Ultimate Edition. This “special” model will be limited to 175 units.

Aston Martin offers buyers of the Ultimate edition three different themes, Ultimate Black with Copper Bronze details, Xenon Grey with Cobalt Blue accents, and White Gold with Bronze surfaces. All three are bespoke finishes that give the Ultimate Edition an exclusive air. The interior finishes, Obsidian Black with Chestnut Tan accents, Phantom Grey theme with Electron Yellow accents and Spectral Blue stitching, and Chestnut Tan with Obsidian Black details compliment the exclusivity of the exterior.

Under the hood, there are no changes. But as the Ultimate edition is based on the hotter Vanquish S, the 6.0-litre V12 on duty produces 595 hp. The 0-100 kph time is just above 3.7 seconds, while the top speed is 323 kph.

The Vanquish S Ultimate Edition is sold in both Coupe and Volante forms, both of which ask for a US$ 15,000 premium over their respective standard variants. Deliveries will commence in early 2018, after which, the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish will arrive.
