Hyundai i30 Fastback added to expanding range
The all-new third-gen Hyundai i30 range already includes the regular hatchback, an estate as well as the hot i30 N hatchback despite being just a few months old. And now, adding up to this expansive range, an i30 fastback has been revealed.
The fastback is a stylish alternative to the regular practical hatchback with a lowered stance as well as a sloping roofline at the back. The roof flows into an integrated spoiler. The front also gets minor updates on the bumper. 12 body color options are available for the buyer to choose from. The interior also gets 3 colour choices for the trim.
A 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo with 118 hp coupled with a manual gearbox will call the base model’s engine bay home while the higher models will sport a 138 hp 1.4-litre four-cylinder unit. The bigger engine will come with a choice of the same manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A 1.6-litre diesel engine will also be available with 108 hp or 134 hp. The suspension is made stiffer to reduce body roll.
Safety gizmos like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, High Beam Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist, comes with the Hyundai i30 Fastback.
It is unknown if the i30 Fastback will be offered in the GCC.
