Lexus ES 350 2010 facelift coming soon
The Lexus ES, the best-selling front-wheel-drive midsize luxury sedan that is based on the Toyota Camry, has been given a minor facelift for the 2010 model year. The new model made its world debut in China.
Exterior changes are almost unnoticeable, with new headlights, grille and front bumper. The rear gets some trim changes.
The 2010 Lexus ES 350 has a carryover 3.5-litre V6 engine with VVT-i that produces 277 hp and 346 Nm in East-Asian trim. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and can manage the 0-100 kph run in 7 seconds, with a top speed of 230 kph.
The Chinese market is also getting a Lexus ES 240 base model, with a Toyota 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine offering 167 hp and 224 Nm of torque. It manages the 0-100 kph run is 10.4 seconds and has a top speed of 205 kph.
Expect the facelifted 2010 ES 350 to reach Dubai and Abu Dhabi showrooms by the end of 2009. It is unknown if the new four-banger entry-level model will be offered in the UAE and other GCC countries. Keep track of updates in the Lexus ES buyer guide.
