The Jaguar XKR was redesigned for the 2010 model year, receiving a minor facelift and a lot more power. European tuner Arden felt that Jaguar didn’t pump up the power enough, and took it upon itself to give the XKR Convertible a work-out.

Simply by fitting a new exhaust system, Arden claims to have bumped up the power by 30 horses for the XKR’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8, now listed as 540 hp and 674 Nm of torque. Arden has also removed the speed limiter, supposedly bumping up the top speed to 320 kph.

In terms of looks, Arden has fitted revised bumpers, with redone intakes and chrome grilles, as well as a new diffuser around the four exhaust tips. Adjustable lowered suspension, upgraded brakes, 21-inch Sportline alloys, and interior trim enhancements are also part of the package.

The regular 2010 XKR is going on sale in the UAE and GCC. Look out for prices and specs in the Jaguar XK buyer guide.

  1. And this one is like super-super-supercharged. Sweet car, but I think the boys at Jag are going in a totally new direction with the XJ
