NanoFlowcell’s hydrogen-cell supercar is the best of both worlds
While big names in the automobile industry struggle to refine their hydrogen-cell powered cars, a small manufacturer from Liechtenstein, called NanoFlowcell, has plans to roll out their hydrogen-cell powered concept car which will be their fourth concept car since 2014.
Named the Quant 48Volt, the new car will be the most powerful from the brand ever. The 760 hp produced by the fuel-cell electric drive in the Quant 48Volt is 248 hp more than what their Koenigsegg Quant concept from 2009 produced. This massive amount of power is claimed to power the car from 0 to 100 kph in 2.4 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 300 kph.
Staying true to NanoFlowcell’s way of making power sources for their cars, the Quant 48Volt will feature six cells arranged in series separated by a membrane. They claim this combo delivers both performance and healthy range at the same time. NanoFlowcell claims the Quant 48Volt will have a range of 1000 km. If they can pull this feat off, the Quant 48Volt just may be the best-of-both-worlds option that we always wanted.
The NanoFlowcell Quant 48Volt will be displayed for the public at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show where we will know more about the brand’s fiscal intentions.
