Fiat launched the new Tipo sedan and Fullback pickup at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show. The Fiat Tipo was apparently created by a team of over 2,000 people who worked on the project during its 3 year development period. The Thai-built Fiat Fullback is based on the Mitsubishi L200 pickup.

The dimensions of the Tipo are 4.54 metres long, 1.78 metres wide and 1.48 metres high with a wheelbase of 2.64 metre. The interior ergonomics has all the controls tilted slightly towards the driver for ease of use.

Features include the Uconnect system equipped with a 5-inch colour touchscreen, a hands-free Bluetooth system, audio streaming, text reader and voice recognition, auxilary and USB ports with iPod integration, steering wheel controls, rear parking camera and navigation.

Depending on the market, there will be a choice of two petrol and two turbocharged diesel engines. The petrol engines consist of 95 hp 1.4-litre unit and a 110 hp 1.6-litre motor. The turbodiesel versions consist of 95 hp 1.3-litre and 120 hp 1.6-litre 120hp engine options.

In the Middle East and Africa, the Fullback pick-up truck will be available with two engine options – a 2.5-litre turbodiesel with a power output of 110 hp and 178hp and a 2.4-litre petrol engine that delivers 132hp and has a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 5-speed automatic transmission option is available as well. Some of the models can be had in either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

  1. fiat : the least reliable brand according to consumer reports…

  2. its just not fiat the whole of FCA is unreliable according to consumer reports…year by year they r going from bad to worse…but the problems seems to be different in different models unlike the Nissan…Nissans most problems are related to their CVT trasmissions…whereas fiat Chrysler cars problems are varying from model to model…

    • Yup… but people in middle east dont exactly read.. they just go by that some thing that shinny, glossy and marketed well.

Mazda 6 is by far technically a vastly superior product than Nissan Altima… yet sales figures dont reflect that

  3. My comment: Not interest at all

  4. Fiat = Fixed it again tony
