2016 Chevrolet SS facelift officially revealed in US

Chevrolet has officially revealed the 2016 SS facelift in the US.

The facelift makes the SS look more aggressive than the outgoing model with its new front fascia adding more chrome and vertical ducts which sends air towards the front wheel openings to improve aerodynamics. It also gets a ventilated hood, LED daytime running lights and new design 19-inch alloy wheels.

Chevrolet have also added a new dual-mode exhaust which makes the new SS quieter than previous model at lower speeds but even louder when pushed harder.

Engine specs remain the same, with the 6.2-litre V8 motor producing about 415 hp and 562 Nm of torque. It can be had in either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shifters.

The Chevrolet SS is not sold in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar or other GCC countries.
