2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT revealed
Jeep has unveiled the 2016 Grand Cherokee SRT. It looks virtually the same but it gets some improvements under the skin. It also reduces some weight, thanks to new aluminium suspension components.
Even though no interior pictures have been revealed yet, Jeep claims it now has a new instrument panel which has a 7-inch screen with a tachometer that has been relocated to the centre of the display.
There are also a new set of drive-modes for the all-wheel drive system, transmission, paddle-shifters, stability control, suspension and steering. The drive modes include Custom, Auto, Sport, Track, Snow, Two and Eco. A new Valet mode has been added as well which significantly reduces the performance of the car, activates the electronic stability control system and prevents the driver from using Launch Control.
Also new for 2016 is the ability to set launch rpm between 1500 and 3500 in 250 rpm increments. Under the hood, things are the same with the 6.4-litre V8 engine producing about 468 hp and 630 Nm of torque.
The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries sometime early next year.

Love the srt but i think they played it too safe with the design for 2016. Guess we’ll have to wait for the Trailhawk to see an all out aggressive look!!
