2016 Kia Sportage exterior images officially revealed

Kia has officially revealed exterior images of the all-new 2016 Sportage. It is set to make its global debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The fourth-generation Kia has a completely new front fascia, featuring sweeping headlights along the outer edges of the new bonnet and wheel arches. It gets a new lower and wider “tiger-nose” grille. The rear gets new slim taillights joined by a strip that runs the width of the rear, while the turn signals and reversing lights are separated, inspired by the 2013 Kia Provo concept car.

Interior images and features are not out yet but can be seen from earlier leaked photos.

The engines for the new Sportage will probably be similar to the current model, which include two 4-cylinder engines, one a 2.0-litre and the other a 2.4-litre. Whether the 1.6-litre naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, as well as if the diesel engines, will come to the UAE, Saudi Arabia or GCC is still not known.
